🏉 London Scottish 14-50 Cornish Pirates
Cornish Pirates rounded off their Premiership Rugby Cup campaign with an eight-try hammering of fellow Championship side London Scottish in their final Pool C game on Friday night.
A fine start in the capital saw Pirates cross three times in a ten-minute spell through Harry Dugmore, Ioan Evans and Will Trewin to give the away side a 19-0 lead after as many minutes.
The score remained the same until the break but hooker Morgan Nelson dotted down twice after the turnaround to put the game to bed before the hour, with Luke Mehson getting Scottish on the board with a converted effort.
Matt McNab’s brace of unconverted tries extended Pirates’ lead further, and while William Panday crossed for another consolation score for the hosts, there was still time for Hugh Bokenham to power over for an eighth and final try for the visitors in the dying embers.
The result means Pirates finished third in the five-team Pool C table.

🏉 Camborne 38-29 Hinckley
Ben Priddey scored a hat-trick as Camborne continued their excellent start to the season with a six-try triumph over Hinckley at The Rec.
A slow start out of the blocks allowed visiting scrum-half Ben Pointon to cross twice inside the first 12 minutes before hooker Priddey claimed his first of the afternoon just after the half-hour mark.
Hinckley fly-half Archie Heard knocked over a penalty within a minute of the restart before No. 8 Reuben Logan scored under the posts, but home centre Josh Matavesi powered over on the stroke of half-time to reduce the deficit to 14-22.
The next quarter of the game belonged to the Cherry & Whites, with Priddey crossing twice to complete his treble and clinch the try bonus before Sam Rodman’s unconverted effort extended the hosts’ lead to 33-22 by the 55-minute mark.
Winger Alex Ducker made sure of another home win with the hosts’ sixth try of the day, before Matthew Guilfoyle went over with six minutes to play to rescue a try bonus for the visitors.

Reds fly-half Jordan Gott put the visitors in front with an early penalty, but Chester soon took the initiative with Ben Ivory, Tom Furnival and Andrew McMinimee all crossing as the hosts surged into a 19-3 lead.
Ben Fox closed the gap just before the break with a converted try, but Harrison Vare and James Preston dotted down for the home side within ten minutes of the turnaround to give Chester a handsome 33-10 advantage.
Redruth did hit back with two unconverted tries from Tommy Phillips and Dean Bonds, but their hopes of taking anything from the game evaporated when full-back Preston crossed for his second of the day to take his individual tally for the afternoon to 18 points.
